The Old Fashioned Kit includes an 8 oz. bottle of our Demerara Syrup, an 13.5 oz. jar of our Bourbon Cocktail Cherries, a 1 oz. bottle of our Aromatic Bitters, and a Graduated Jigger. These small batch products are packed in an elegant black gift box perfect for holiday gift giving, as a housewarming gift, or as a bar starter set for home and professional bartenders alike.

Though the original Old Fashioned recipes Jack Rudy found call for a sugar cube, we think you'll find the flavor and ease of their Demerara Syrup hard to resist. Grab a bottle of your favorite bourbon, rye, or dark rum and a couple of oranges, and you're all set for a (delicious) cocktail party.

Founders: Jack Rudy Cocktail Co. is a family-run company based in Charleston, SC, and Lexington, KY. Our goal is to take long-forgotten staples of the American bar and reinvent them to drink as our great-grandparents might once have.

Our Great-Grandfather's Legacy: Jack Rudy was many things. He was a pilot who illegally flew his plane under the Ohio River Bridge (on a dare), an inventor who created a mechanical device for pharmacists to count pills, and a craftsman who once built a houseboat from an old city bus.

After serving as an aircraft mechanic in WWII, he worked as an engineer. He read Popular Mechanics and National Geographic cover to cover – a curious type who made his bullets and shot them into a dirt wall he constructed in his basement. In addition to being a ‘marvelous’ dancer, he LOVED to entertain and was known to overindulge in drink, smoke, and his wife’s gourmet cooking.
