It’s the Pleated League, built with precisely the same design and fit as our best-selling fitted shirt, The League, with one beautiful exception: its collar. The statement 2-inch-high collar is pleated with demure, tight folds that can be worn standing up tall and straight or folded gently down.
This fitted-style shirt is rendered in a fetching mini-check in a hue we call sage and features a neckline that gracefully tapers to create a subtle, flattering V-neck opening. Like all our shirt styles, The Pleated League is fashioned with white engraved mother-of-pearl buttons and four-inch-long cuffs with a single-button closure. (BTW, if you are familiar with our Great White Shirt 4.0 and The Ivy, the fit of The Pleated League is the same.)

CLARIDGE & KING BRAND: Sisters Laurann Claridge and Lizbeth King grew up in Connecticut and came of age in the 80s wearing their dad's button-downs. Although they left behind their uniform kilts and signet rings upon graduating from boarding school, they never outgrew their fascination with menswear.
In 2008, following in their entrepreneurial grandparents' footsteps (who ran their own business in New York's garment district), the duo established Claridge + King, a women's clothing line inspired by menswear fabrics and tailoring.
Today, Claridge (the blonde), C + K's design mind, calls herself a Texan by proxy; meanwhile, King, the brilliant business mind (with an MBA to boot), is now based in Northern California.
