Nothing welcomes warm weather like seersucker fabric. This spring and summer, we found a classic blue stripe seersucker that’s anything but ordinary and used it to create our signature shirt, The Crop.

This shorter, slim-style boyfriend button-down skims the low waist/hips, allowing you to layer it beneath a sweater or jacket or wear it all on its own. Featuring 4-inch-long single-button cuffs, a classic point collar, and a chest pocket, The Crop is finished with our engraved mother-of-pearl buttons.

CLARIDGE & KING BRAND: Sisters Laurann Claridge and Lizbeth King grew up in Connecticut and came of age in the 80s wearing their dad's button-downs. Although they left behind their uniform kilts and signet rings upon graduating from boarding school, they never outgrew their fascination with menswear.

In 2008, following in their entrepreneurial grandparents' footsteps (who ran their own business in New York's garment district), the duo established Claridge + King, a women's clothing line inspired by menswear fabrics and tailoring.

Today, Claridge (the blonde), C + K's design mind, calls herself a Texan by proxy; meanwhile, King, the brilliant business mind (with an MBA to boot), is now based in Northern California.
