CAPUCINE DE WULF BRAND: Born in Paris of a French father and a Texan mother, Capucine was named after the bright and boldly hued nasturtium flower. Her unique upbringing of European style combined with Southern whimsy resulted in her hallmark personality and design aesthetic of French romance with an American sensibility.

In 2001, Capucine and her husband, David Gooding, founded Juliska—an acclaimed tableware and home décor brand. After many years of fascinating travel and product development, Capucine discovered a passion for unique materials and a curiosity for handicraft.

Her tableware sketchbooks are littered with doodles of jewelry designs which she brings to life by combining old-world techniques with modern-day technology that push beyond the borders of conventional jewelry. She loves to live colorfully and is grateful to work with wonderful people every day.

The Jewelry: We create jewelry that makes a woman feel and look fabulous! Our collections begin with Capucine’s sketches which are inspired by her experiences, musings, and life philosophy, featuring symbolic designs laden with meaning.

All of our pieces are hand-crafted by artisans using the ancient method of lost wax casting. Each piece is sculpted in nickel free brass, hand dipped into 18K gold plating and carefully polished to a gleaming finish with a final anti-tarnish protective coating to enhance longevity. 

Each material we use, whether a natural gemstone, wood, mother of pearl or shell, is thoroughly reviewed for superior color, quality and fire, before it is hand cut, polished and set into place. As we use natural materials, they vary in color, texture, and clarity, which we celebrate as a hallmark of nature’s beauty. No two stones will ever be alike.
