Macon&Lesquoy x Le Musés d'Orsay
Size: about 5,8x3,1cm
The Musée d'Orsay has the world's richest collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. This could not fail to inspire the designers at Macon&Lesquoy, who say that the museum is their second office. As part of the 150th anniversary of Impressionism, the Parisian institution asked M&L to revisit the museum's iconic works with embroidery. In these 4 brooches, they tried to reproduce the emotion linked to the reactivity of colors, the movement of the brush and the material of paint.
