The Atlas Pot in sturdy terracotta, designed to stand on the shoulders of its saucer counterpart. Inspired by the legendary Titan Atlas, who carried the weight of the heavens on his shoulders, this pot is characterised by its repeating circular patterns of vertical lines, symbolising the arduous and perpetual task of its mythological namesake.
Much like the enduring spirit of Atlas, this pot is built to stand the test of time, promising longevity and resilience when cared for. Just as Atlas persevered in his celestial task, this pot will continue to thrive and serve as a timeless feature in any garden or home.

BERGS BRAND: Unique handmade pots since 1942 - Bergs Potter makes high-quality terracotta pots that plants love. Our pots' high-quality materials and craftsmanship ensure they will live on from generation to generation.
Handcrafted with love: Our pots and planters are designed in Denmark and handcrafted with love from premium-quality clay in small, family-owned workshops in northern Italy and Portugal.
We always strive to achieve the best quality products. We fire our clay at extremely high temperatures and use slow-burning firing, giving our pots unique and natural durability. In addition to our collection of raw terracotta pots, we make pots and vases in glazed ceramics. Each of our ceramic pots and vases is glazed in an old-fashioned way, individually and by hand, to achieve our rich, deep colour.
Pots your plants love: We believe that living with plants improves the quality of life. Pots and plants are an easy and stylish way to transform the look and feel of your home, but for the plants to make you thrive, they need to thrive, too. Since 1942, Bergs Potter has created pots that your plants love. Proper drainage gives their roots room to breathe, and superior clay holds the needed moisture. At Bergs Potter, we create durable pots designed for both indoor and outdoor use. If you take good care of them, they can be passed down from generation to generation.
Bergs planters capture the simple beauty of Danish design, drawing inspiration from time-tested antique styles. This beautifully detailed set is inspired by one manufactured at Denmark's Fredensborg Palace around 1860. Every pot and saucer is made from the best quality Italian terracotta clay, high-fired for frost resistance and indoor-outdoor durability. With time and handling, the terracotta will develop a weathered patina; you may polish your planters with a mild vinegar solution and a soft cloth to restore a spotless appearance.

- Indoor or outdoor use
- Winter care: For best longevity, empty and place upside down on boards or pot feet during winter.
- Color and texture changes should be expected. Due to the porous quality of natural clay, items will change color or patina over time from exposure to water, handling, and salts found in soil. Items may arrive with some marks of handling; a vinegar solution can be used to return your item to its original finish after handling.
